PRDnationwide Tumbarumba was officially opened in July 2004 and has proved a big asset to the Tumbarumba area. Tumbarumba has seen huge growth in its economy of timber production, agriculture and tourism, enabling many investors to successfully purchase in the area.

The Tumbarumba district is the jewel of the Upper Murray region and lies at the western foothills of the Snowy Mountains. Situated approximately halfway between Sydney and Melbourne it is fast becoming synonymous with the mittagong-bowral area in the New South Wales Southern Highlands and Mt Beauty and Myrtleford in the Victorian Highlands.

The scenic combination of snowcapped mountains, forested slopes, gorges, rolling green pastures and waterfalls fed by the pure untamed mountain streams is such a diverse scenery so hard to match but so easy the eyes - it is never forgotten.
